FAQ

How do I play?

Each player rolls a d20. The higher roll wins the round and asks the other player a question. First to the target score (5 or 11) wins the night.

What do natural 20s and 1s do?

A natural 20 that wins scores +2. Losing with a natural 1 costs the roller 1 point. A 20 against a 1 is the Divine Showdown: the 20 wins the game instantly. If both players roll 20, each gets +1. Any other tie is simply re-rolled.

Can we play on two phones?

Yes. Sign in, choose Two Devices, and share the 6-character room code with your partner, who taps Join Game. Rooms expire automatically after 24 hours.

Do I need an account?

No. Tap Play Now to play as a guest on one device. An account is needed for online games and to keep stats.

Is there a web version?

Yes, you can play in your browser. Purchases are only available in the iOS app.

What is the Dice Bag?

Your collection of 100+ 3D dice. Open the menu and tap Dice Bag to inspect, favorite and equip a die for either player. Earn new dice from achievements, milestones and inviting friends, or pick up themed packs in the iOS app.

Is Dating Throw for adults only?

Yes, it is for players 18 and older.

Restore purchases

Purchases such as dice packs and the Anniversary Pack belong to your Apple ID. To unlock them on a new device or after reinstalling:

• Make sure you are signed in to the App Store with the Apple ID you bought with.
• Open Dating Throw, open the menu (☰), tap Dice Bag, then Shop, and tap Restore Purchases at the bottom.

For refunds, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple handles all payments and refunds.

Delete your account

• Open Dating Throw and open the menu (☰).
• Tap Delete Account.
• Confirm. Email accounts are asked for their password to verify it's you.

This permanently deletes your profile, stats, any game rooms you host and your login, and clears local settings on the device. Purchases stay with your Apple ID and can be restored later. Guest players have no account; the same button clears on-device data.

Can't access the app? Email info@datingthrow.com from your account's email address and we will delete your data within 30 days.
