Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Dating Throw app for iOS and the game at datingthrow.com (together, the "App"). By using the App you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility (18+)

The App is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to use it, and you confirm this when you first open the App. Some questions and dares are intended for adult couples.

2. Your Account

You can play as a guest or create an account with an email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time from the in-app menu (Delete Account) or by emailing info@datingthrow.com.

3. Two-Player Online Play: Code of Conduct

Online games connect you only with the person you share your room code with. When playing online you agree to:

• Only share room codes with people who want to play with you, and only join rooms you were invited to.
• Use a display name that is not offensive, hateful, sexually explicit, or impersonating someone else.
• Treat your partner with respect. Questions and dares are invitations, never obligations: either player may skip anything, at any time, for any reason.
• Not use the App to harass, threaten, pressure or exploit anyone, or to share content involving minors.
• Not interfere with the App or other players' games, including by tampering with game data, automating play, probing for room codes, or attempting to access data that is not yours.

To report abuse or a safety concern, email info@datingthrow.com. We may remove rooms and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

4. In-App Purchases

• The App is free to play. Optional content such as the Anniversary Pack is offered as a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase (currently US$1.99; prices vary by region and are shown before you buy).
• Purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple ID and are subject to Apple's Media Services Terms. We do not receive your payment information.
• Purchases are tied to your Apple ID, not to your Dating Throw account. Use Restore Purchases in the menu to unlock them again on a new device or after reinstalling.
• Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Purchases are not available in the web version.

5. Content and License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own non-commercial entertainment. The App, its questions, dares, artwork and code are owned by Dating Throw and protected by law. You may not copy, resell or redistribute them.

The App is a game for fun and connection. It is not relationship, medical or psychological advice.

6. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, or remove online rooms, if you violate these Terms or misuse the App. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as ownership, disclaimers and limitation of liability) will survive.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that online play will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dating Throw will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, and our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.

8. Apple

If you downloaded the App from the App Store, these Terms are between you and Dating Throw, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post changes on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
